JulIt is essential to gain a deep understanding and comprehensive grasp of the intrinsic connection between the new type of urbanization and the Chinese modernization. The new type of urbanization should be leveraged to advance the Chinese modernization and contribute to the overarching goal of building a modern socialist country in all respects.
The new type of urbanization provides strong momentum for the Chinese modernization. Advancing the new type of urbanization helps to continuously expand consumer demand, accelerate the transformation of the development model, and enhance the quality and efficiency of economic growth, thereby injecting powerful impetus into pressing ahead with the Chinese modernization.
The new type of urbanization facilitates the realization of human modernization. Centered on people, the new type of urbanization is a form of urban development that aims to meet people's needs and promote their all-round development. Its fundamental goals and development direction are highly aligned with those of the Chinese modernization.
The new type of urbanization supports social governance under the Chinese modernization. Promoting the new type of urbanization is conducive to building a community of social governance in which everyone has responsibilities, fulfils their duties, and shares in the benefits. The process of advancing the new type of urbanization is also a process of continuously enhancing public participation in urban governance and promoting the modernization of the urban governance system and governance capacity.
