Biography

Liu is the associate professor of National Academy of Development and Strategy (NADS) at Renmin University of China (RUC) with specialties in transition economics and development economics. He is also the sole author and first author of more than 30 published articles, and his academic work has been published in highly regarded general interest and field journals such as Economic Research Journal, Management World, China Economic Quarterly, and The Journal of World Economy. Based on his outstanding achievement, Liu received several academic awards, including "Ministry of Education's Seventh Outstanding Achievement of China's Scientific Academy"，"National Distinguished Doctoral Dissertation Nomination"，"The Sixth Mundell-Huangda Prize," "Scholarship Award for Excellent Doctoral Student granted by Ministry of Education," "The First Tan Chongtai Development Economics Prize," and etc.
