Relying on RUC's quality education and research resources, the Center organizes public or internal seminars of different sizes for scholars across the Taiwan Strait to promote the discussion and sharing within the academic circles. In accordance with the developments and needs, the Center delivers targeted and practical research reports as decision reference for party and state leaders, and exerts a positive social impact through academic papers, policy research reports, and public interactions.

Huang Jiashu
Huang is Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Department of Political Science, School of International Relations, RUC. He is also a member of the Political Science Team of the State Council Disciplinary Review Group, Vice President of China Strategic Culture Promotion Association, Director of China Society of Political Science, academic member and guest researcher of China Foundation for International and Strategic Studies, guest researcher and Executive Director of National Society of Taiwan Studies, and Vice President of Beijing Society for the Promotion of Exchange Among Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. Huang was elected into the National Trans-Century Talent Program (at the first or second levels), named Beijing Outstanding Individual for Work on Taiwan in May 1993, and granted the Special Government Allowances of the State Council in 1996. Huang has published Kuomintang in Taiwan (1945-1988) (the Taiwan version entitled The Third Eye to See Taiwan and the Vietnam version published in 2013), Can Taiwan Be Independent – A Perspective of Taiwan's Independence, and Cool Observation of the Cross-Strait Situation and participated in a number of major research projects and major proclamations to Taiwan of the Central Government.

Wang Yingjin
Wang is Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of the Department of Political Science, School of International Relations, RUC. He focuses research on state structure comparison, Taiwan politics and cross-strait relations, Hong Kong politics and Hong Kong-mainland relations. In 2012, he was selected into the MOE Program for New Century Excellent Talents. Wang concurrently serves in 21 positions, including Director of the National Society of Taiwan Studies, National Society of Hong Kong and Macao Studies and Society of Legal Research on Cross-Strait Relations. His monographs include Separation and Reunification: Changes in Cross-Strait Relations, National Reunification Model Research, China's Political Transition and Rule of Law, Self-determination Theory and the Referendum, Cross-strait Political Relations research, Analysis of Taiwan's Political System. Wang has presided more than 20 research projects of NSFC, MOE Human and Social Science Foundation, ministries and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government.

Lin Hong
Lin is PhD in Laws, Associate Professor, Master Supervisor, Deputy Director of the Research Center for Relations Across the Taiwan Strait, RUC. Her main research concerns are the Chinese government and politics, political theory, cross-strait relations and the Taiwan issue and her works include Populism – Definition, Theory and Empirical Study and Cross-Strait Diplomatic War.
