Secretary of the Party Committee of Yanbian University Jin Xiong and His Delegation Visits National Academy of Development and Strategy of RUC

On Sept. 21, Jin Xiong, the Secretary of the Party Committee of Yanbian University and Cai Meihua, Director of Co-Innovation Center for Korean Peninsula Studies visited NADS to inspect the construction of think tank. Before that, Secretary Jin Nuo and Managing Vice President Wang Liming met Secretary Jin and his delegation. Both parties agreed to combine their R&D advantages to actively promote think tank exchange and cooperation.

After the meeting with leaders, Secretary Jin and his delegation visited NADS where they held a symposium with Executive President Liu Yuanchun and Vice President Yang Guangbin. Secretary Jin sang high praise for NADS's achievements in assisting the government in decision making and inspiring national wisdom as one of national first batch of think tank construction pilot units. As NADS has set a good example for colleges and universities to construct think tanks, Secretary Jin expressed his wish of strengthening mutual cooperation.

Director Cai and Vice President Yang respectively introduced the status quo, team building and research findings of Co-Innovation Center for Korean Peninsula Studies, Yanbian University and NADS, RUC. Both parties explicitly identified their intentions to carry out academic exchange and cooperation, established a normalized communication mechanism on the principle of "complementary advantages, resource sharing and cooperative development", and conducted consultation on concrete cooperation matters such as research topics, ways of cooperation and personnel exchange.
