Delegation of State Grid Energy Research Institute Visits National Academy of Development and Strategy of RUC for Investigation Symposium

On the afternoon of May 13, Zhou Yuanbing, Vice President of State Grid Energy Research Institute (SGERI) and his delegation visited National Academy of Development and Strategy (NADS) of RUC for an investigation symposium, which was also participated by Wu Cong, Vice President of NADS and other heads of related divisions, and accompanied by Wang Yaohua, Deputy Chief Economist and Director of SGERI and Global Energy Interconnection Research Institute (GEIRI), Ma Li, Head of Research Institute for Business Strategy, Shan Baoguo, Head of Research Institute for Economy and Energy Supply and Demand, and Zheng Haifeng, Vice Director of Department of Scientific Research Development.

Vice President Zhou Yuanbing gave a brief introduction of SGERI, including its architecture, products system, staff structure and so on. In addition, he also made a detailed explanation about SGERI's intention to cooperate with NADS.

Vice President Wu Cong offered a brief introduction to NADS from the following five aspects: operation mechanism, think tank product system, talent, fund and evaluation system, gave detailed answers to problems concerning NADS's undertaking of major urgent tasks, activity organization and management mechanism, and also made a short description on its media affairs.

Both parties carried on in-depth discussions on think tank construction and their potential cooperation.
