Guan Xueling: Sino-Russian Friendly Cooperation Isn’t about Any Third Party

In recent years, China and Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination has maintained steady, sustained, and high-level development. What are the reasons for the increasingly close relationships between the two sides? With the dilemma of western sanctions and structural imbalance of Russian economy, where will its economy go under the leadership of President Putin? As China promotes the Belt and Road Initiative, Russia the Euroasia Economic Union, how could the connecting of these two ambitious projects change the global governance system?
