Nie Huihua: Report on Chinese Government-Business Relations Ranking List Offering a Benchmark for Local Governments

In 2018, RUC National Academy of Development and Strategy published China’s first report on Government-Business Relations Ranking List 2017 based on systemic assessment and analysis of the government-business relations of 285 cities. According to the theories and related literatures both at home and abroad, the Report produced a ranking list from the angle of building a new type of cordial and clean relationship between government and business.

What is the greatest lesson of this report? What is the future orientation of Chinese government and business relations? And as for the “zombie company” problem, how can we handle it appropriately?
