Introduction: Household consumption has long been one of the main component of energy demand in China. The investigation and study on this topic could provide basic information for the local governments, such as the current situation of residents and households and their features, amounts, structure and cost in terms of energy consumption.
The investigation of household energy consumption has been a routine programme of Centre for Energy and Resources Strategy Studies for many years. In this conference, members of the investigation team will analyze the mode and characteristics of household energy consumption in China based on the statistics of the survey, and make suggestions for policy development. Meanwhile, experts from Development Research Center of the State Council, Peking University and other famous institutions will provide their insights on household energy consumption as well.
