As a typical big data, mobile signaling data can be widely used in analysis of urban planning and management. This research discusses spatial distribution of urban population and job-housing relations in different urban functional zones through a combination of mobile signaling data analysis and scenario simulation using urban models. The results can serve policymaking in terms of improving urban spatial structure and urban transportation efficiency.
