SepRecently, the violence in Hong Kong is badly jeopardizing the prosperity and stability of the City itself, and attracting worldwide attention. Many men of insight around the world have expressed their supports for the stand of the Chinese government, their affirmation of the response measures taken by HKSAR, and their strong condemnation against the violence and “Hong Kong Independence” separatists. What must be noted is, however, in terms of the basic issues on respecting the sovereignty and independence of all countries and opposing any interference in the internal affairs of other countries, the very small number of countries led by the U.S. have chosen a stand completely opposite to the international community, even extended their “Black Hands” intervening in internal affairs of other countries to Hong Kong, China.
It must be admitted that all events happened in Hong Kong in recent years, from “Occupy Central” movement in 2014 to the violence today, are illegal movements by the activists that vainly attempt to satisfy the alleged “political demands” for changing government decisions, forcing the Chief Executive and other officials of HKSAR to leave office even realizing “Hong Kong Independence” by coercing the central government and HKSAR government in manner of assaulting government agencies and long-term blocking up important lines of communications through radical “street protest”, and are completely equipped with various characteristics of “Color Revolution” of deep intervention and complete manipulation by external forces. Such situations have definitely not been the action of normal popular opinion expression, but a downright subversive activity driven by external forces.
In fact, over the past period, some countries in Central and Eastern Europe, Central and Western Asia and North Africa were hit one after another by political upheaval at various levels, even suffered alternation of regime realized through violence. The alleged “revolutions” are collectively called “Color Revolution”, of which the most striking common is the intervention and operation by the U.S., the “black hand” behind these mobsters. At least during the Cold War Era, the U.S. began to contend with the Soviet Union and the socialist camp through unbridled intervention and interposition in internal affairs of other countries and propping up pro-American forces. The most typical example should be the case that in 1973 CIA directly had a hand in political situation of Chile, overthrew the Allende administration actively cooperating with the social camp, and propped up the pro-American military government to come to power. The subversive act operated so openly also reveals that the only purpose of American intervention in other countries on the ground of the alleged “democracy” and “human rights” is just to safeguard interests of itself even certain special groups in it.
The “soft move” in the tricks of “Color Revolution” planned by the U.S. means the alleged “democratic aid”. As an important component in “human rights diplomacy”, the alleged American “democratic aid” is roughly embodied in the following two aspects: one is the traditional mode of attaching political or ideological conditions when offering economic aid to the receiving countries, and another is the practice of directly offering aids of funds, materials and labor to specific organizations in certain countries through the “glove” of NGO, to promote some desired actions by the organizations in their own countries. With the end of the Cold War and continuous deepening of economic globalization, the former, namely the traditional mode, has been used less, but the latter has become a considerably invisible driving force for “Peaceful Evolution” and “Color Revolution”. The most representative “glove” organization for the alleged “democratic aid” is “The National Endowment for Democracy (NED)”. According to the figure provided by NED established in 1983 itself, it granted various aids of USD 150 million to 1,700 “programs” in 90 countries and regions around the world in 2016, which the external world can reasonably enough believe is only the alleged part that “can be made public”. So how much subsidies has NED offered to these mobsters in Hong Kong over the past years?
The “hard move” in the tricks of “Color Revolution” planned by the U.S. means the alleged “covert action”. The word originated from the Cold War Era, and covers various actions directly taken by CIA and other agencies through various “covert” approaches to overturn regimes of other countries and maximize American interests and. Of course, the alleged “covert” is in fact undisguised operations by hook or by crook, for example, politically mustering pro-American forces and fostering “pro-American party”; economically threatening sanctions or directly implementing sanctions and disturbing normal economic order; in public opinion and propaganda, fabricating and spreading various instigating and agitating information and values , reversing right and wrong and confusing truth and falsehood, and fraudulently mobilizing common people… According to the open information, in CIA there is a special action center especially for “covert action”, and, taking the fiscal year 2013 as an example, the center had the budget up to USD 2.6 billion, over one sixth of the total expenditure of CIA. In recent farce of disturbing Hong Kong, some American persons colluded with certain political forces in Hong Kong, China, and were cahoots with those mobs stirring chaos in Hong Kong and pursuing “Hong Kong Independence”, even some American officials “personally guided” the violence and chaos in Hong Kong; some American politicians wielded the big stick of trade bullying again and again and threatened change of the economic and trade arrangement between the U.S. and HKSAR, China, imposing external pressure; some persons in American political and media circles wantonly dispersed information through various channels including social media, to feed the mobs’ overweening arrogance… If these events are not recurrence of American “covert action” in Hong Kong, what are they?
The tricks of the alleged “democratic aid” and “covert action” wilfully manipulated around the world by the U.S. are completely reflection of the Cold War mindset and the confrontation mindset, disregarding not only unique histories and cultures of other countries in the world, but the basic rights of the people of all countries to independently choose their roads of development. In other words, such acts on the excuse of “democracy” and “rights” are nothing but an undisguised trample upon the sovereignty and rights of other countries in essence.
People from countries and regions around the world, including those from Hong Kong, should thoroughly see through and penetrate into such American tricks completely going against the trend of the times. The only motive of the U.S. in the operations is its private interests. Correspondingly, what any “Color Revolution” manipulated by the U.S. all alone brings to the targeted countries and regions is definitely not prosperity, but retroversion and chaos. The only workable way to deal with such act is to make it become like a rat running across a street, with everybody shouting, “kill it”!
Looking at the situations in the U.S. on the other hand, the economic decline signal appears frequently, the contradictions of class and race keep aggravating, the gun violence spreads unchecked, and other stubborn social illness remains unsolved… Its domestic difficult position is continuously triggering violent popular discontent and feeling. If some political figures of the U.S. seem energetic, they’d better control their domestic affairs properly. They are in great confusion, incapable of reversing the situation, even unable to withstand better life of other countries, so they harbor with evil intentions to disturb others… Such mentality and practice will surely be cast aside by the whole world.
