JulChina's agriculture exhibits common characteristics of transitioning towards modern agriculture. First, both the share of agricultural output value and the share of employment have declined simultaneously. Second, agricultural production factors have been continuously combined and upgraded. Third, agricultural productivity has improved. Fourth, agricultural returns have increased. Fifth, progress has been made toward integrated urban-rural development.
Meanwhile, China's agricultural modernization has its own uniqueness. First, relying on our own strength to secure food supply; second, relying on the two-tier management system to develop agriculture; third, developing ecological low-carbon agriculture; fourth, continuing our farming civilization; fifth, solidly promoting common prosperity.
To accelerate agricultural and rural modernization within the broader framework of Chinese modernization, it is essential to drive an agricultural industrial revolution centered on the restructuring and upgrading of production factors. First, further promote the proportional decline of both the share of agricultural employment and the share of agricultural output value. Second, continue to enhance agricultural productivity. Third, advance the agricultural industrial revolution based on the development model of "one leading industry for one county". Fourth, increase the complexity of agricultural products and rural economic activities. Fifth, consistently improve agricultural returns. Sixth, clarify the development positioning of rural space.
