Research on China's Market Economy Development: Market-oriented Reform Process and Economic Growth with a Structural Evolution first carries out an essential analysis of institutional changes following the economic reform and specially probes into outstanding historical changes in the reform itself that results in institutional evolution. Then, it analyzes economic growth in the course of institutional evolution in China based on the basic value of criterion of just and progressive social productivity development in historical materialism for judgment of change in social production relations. Furthermore, it looks in depth at the effectiveness and quality improvement in the process of such growth; based on this, the book analyzes institutional motives of China’s economic growth and development and thus proposes the requirement of institutional change on the transformation of economic development mode and achievement of sustainable development in China.
