AprSONG Lu, Deputy Dean of the School of Intelligent Governance and researcher at RUC National Academy of Development and Strategy and the Key Laboratory of Artificial Intelligence and Social Governance Technology in Suzhou, together with PAN Yinghao, a researcher at RUC National Academy of Development and Strategy, published an article on the Chinese.org.cn titled “Enhancing New Quality Productive Force with Smart Governance”. The main points of the article are as follows.
The article explores the relationship between smart governance and new quality productive force, emphasizing their importance in driving high-quality economic development in China. It points out that smart governance, as a concrete manifestation of new production relations with information technology at its core, has revolutionized traditional governance models, enhancing the scientificity of government decision-making and execution efficiency. At the same time, new quality productive force, as the combination of technological innovation and industrial upgrading, provides space for the development of smart governance, promoting the improvement of social governance effectiveness. The two complement each other, promote each other, and inject new impetus into the high-quality development of China’s economy and society.
The article calls for deepening smart governance reform, strengthening overall planning, breaking down data barriers, building a sound data governance system, and promoting the integration of industry, academia, and research. It advocates nurturing composite talents for smart governance, providing sufficient talent support for the new productivity of smart governance services. Only in this way can we better conform to the trend of the time and lay a solid foundation for Chinese dream of national rejuvenation. (Translated by ZHANG Yuqing; Proofread by YANG Fanxin)
