China Society of Territorial Economists Held Board Meeting at NADS

On March 16, 2019, the 8th session of the 5th Council and Party Committee (enlarged) meeting of the China Society of Territorial Economists (CSTE) was held at National Academy of Development and Strategy (NADS), Renmin University of China (RUC).

YAN Jinming, as the moderator, said that RUC NADS would pool all the talents and resources of the think tank to build an extensive cooperation network, making great contribution to the development of CSTE.

LIU Zhongqin, Chairman of CSTE, informed the major works of the Society and encouraged all the members to have an in-depth discussion on new tasks.

LI Guoping, Vice-Chairman of CSTE, presented the implementation plan for the annual CSTE academic conference to be held in May, and introduced its preparations.

A heated discussion about the proposal was unfolded, where guests proposed many constructive advices to two documents, An Outline of High Quality Development of China Territorial Economy Report and Regulations on CSTE Braches Management.

China Society of Territorial Economists, established in 1981, is a national brand institution of China Association for Science and Technology. It integrates academic research, consultation, scientific popularization, and publication training. All the members hold a consensus that CSTE should strengthen cooperation with top think tanks such as NADS so as to fully explore the advantages and strength of each other, promoting the combined influence in the development of territorial economy.
